I ATTENDED BUT WAS LATE DUE TO TRAFFIC. MEETING LASTED ONLY HALF AN HOUR. I RAISED QUESTION OF Y2K. CFO SAYS TEAM IS WORKING ON WHAT'S LEFT AFTER INSTALLING COMPLETE NEW SYSTEM. THERE IS LOTS LEFT TO DO, IN HOUSE AND WITH CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS. I WAS CUT OFF WHEN TRYING TO PROBE THE SUPPLIER END, AFTER BEING TOLD THAT SEC REQUIREMENTS NOW FORCE A LOT OF DISCLOSURE BY US LISTED COMPANIES. AFTERWARDS I CONFIRMED THAT THEIR MAJOR SUPPLIERS ARE JAPANESE, WITH NO SEC RELIEF. CAN YOU IMAGINE A SMALL COMPANY SENDING AN "AUDITOR" TO JAPAN AND BEING ADMITTED BY SEVERAL BIG COMPANIES TO INSPECT THEIR SYSTEMS AND FACTORY FLOORS?
