Vic, I have used Wall Street Access for the past 10 years. They happened to have this discount deal with the StockEdge On-line service. (there are a few other brokers that have a discount deal too).

They've had the discount program for a couple years but without Level II or On_line service I had NO INTEREST. DBC just recently allows telephone dial-up and level II. I could have gotten a discount for a QuoTrek or several other services from DBC and others.

I chose Stock Edge for the Low PRICE and the On-Line Level II service.

On-Line trades for less than 5,001 shares of NASDAQ stock are $28 including SEC fees etc. If you choose to use a broker "face to face" then it's $48.

For more than 5,000 shares i.e. Penny Stocks, it is not a good deal. They just changed to this commission schedule, and so I moved my penny stock business to Ameritrade for I think it is $18 for a broker assisted trade.

If you want to sign up with WSA, e.mail me and I can give you the name of the manager in trading if you'd like. Or you can just sign up on the Web if you're going to do mostly on-line trading.
