Bucky, from the wording in the press release, it seems it currently can scale from 10Gb/s to 40Gb/s (presumably by trunking 4 together; at the expense of latency, obviously), with 100Gb/s being a future option.

If 40Gb/s were the base switching matix, how could the entry offering be 10Gb/s for $55,000, as per the release?

I think the base switching capacity of the 550 is 25Gb/s scalable to 100Gb/s through trunking.
