Haim, as in the Tulip craze, the end to the market mania will come when the poorest citizens get swept up in it. Case in point -- I had an argument yesterday with a guy making the minimum wage who thought that the market was the ticket to wealth. He kept insisting the Dow was going to hit 10,000 real soon, and got quite upset when I kept insisting that we are much likelier to see 8,000 or less on the Dow long before 10,000 is reached. (He has been putting money into the market via a 401-K plan.) Paul M.
