Balloon,
I keep a close eye (real time) on my positions. The day before earnings sale was to close out ahead of potentially bad news. I bought the stock to ride potential upside prior to earnings. Left 1/3 on the table in case of good surprise. SYQT moves slowly, so when I got the bad news I just dumped the rest. No reason to hang around when it was for sure the stock would go down. I can put that money to work elsewhere.
