Just think if you had kept on buying the next strike and liquidated the previous strike for the same amount of money!! You would have a fortune now. But if I were you, I wouldn't complain much.
The advantage of holding a deep in the money call, is that if the stock stays the same you have no premium to loose.

I'm in the same situation with Dell August 65 calls -- I can't believe someone sold me them for $9. They're at $22 now and BASED ON YOUR EXPERT, PROFESSIONAL INVESTMENT ADVICE I'm going to roll the money over to buy two or three times as many out-of-the money calls. Thanks again.

(Just kidding about the advice part. I know I'm on my own.)
