Hi Billwot. Yes still holding a small position in adpt. Sold some earlier at a loss and was hoping the rest would bail me out. I do think cpq and intc will break out soon, at least by late 1998 for terrific gains from here, but what do I know? I recommended adpt.

Take care.

billwot. Lowes. Thanks. I guess I was right the first time. I don't know why I suddenly thought that Lowes was in the funeral business and the home building supply store was Loews. I have to look it up now. I used to own that funeral stock, it sounds similar. gg. Maybe that funeral stock is called Lowen Co. Like Professor Higgins said: I think he's got it. Probably not quite right either.;) We have Home Depot in our area. I have not been at a Lowes store but I hear that they are pretty good and are recommended as a stock buy.

I don't have ADPT. I guess you heard in the meantime that the street is worried about a price war between WLA and Merck on Lipitor and Zocor. But then the impact to Merck should be small by dispensing Zocor so cheap to hospitals since it is a small portion of their income from Zocor. I guess we have to see how it all works out. Up one day and down the next.

The financials are great if you can pick the right stock. We should all have picked WFC when it was around 250. gg. I think I discussed it with you back then?

I was doing quite well early on Friday but then Merck, PFE and some of my techs did me in also. Considering how much the Dow was up, I was not much ahead.

I am sure things will get better before they get worse, even though some are saying that things will get worse before they get better and than worse again. gg.

We should have an interesting week. I will not guess the market just keep going with it or at least try. gg.

Sonny
