Jeff-

Peter de Jager is a bloated windbag and a technology dinosaur. When Y2K started he didn't believe automation was possible for Year 2000 and backed bodyshops like DDIM as the only possible solution to Y2K. ALYD proved him wrong.

Now with regards to euro work he is saying the same thing.. automation can't be done. He will be wrong again.

Yes, the euro will start to be phased in in 99, but its more work for companies that take it. The complete implementation won't be until 2002 if I remember correctly. What is wrong with providing more services if you have customers that are willing to pay for them? Are euro conversion dollars going to look any different on the bottom line? Nope. But shareholders and analysts would like to see other capabilities contributing to shareholder equity.

Just my opinion,
