Risky! Glad you decided to hang with us! I mean hang around. Just joking. A chat with the company is worthwhile before adding more shares? Ram

Although I've been watching CMND for quite some time, I (fortunately) did not pick any up until this morning. I certainly understand why many of the longs are cutting their losses and moving on, but to me this is a screaming buy. The company's revenues jumped 54% vs. 1st Q 1997. EPS were up nicely as well, as were profit margins. Moreover, the company has a long list of quality clients and an expanding number of potential new contracts on the table.

Now admittedly something weird is going on with the analysts, and there may be some rough spots in future earnings, but in my mind none of this justifies a 60% price drop.

CMND's prospects look even brighter to me because it's in the Y2K field -- a market segment which will very likely be the focus of increasing investor attention over the next several quarters as more and more people come to grips with the magnitude of the Y2K problem.

The only real risk I see is that there is still some negative news which has not been made public yet, but which really sits at the heart of the recent downgrades. Absent such news, though, I fully expect this stock to trend strongly upward once the recent furor dies down.

Just my two cents,

Dave~
