Good Morning all,

Time again to move a few seats back from the
screen in this speculative theater of madness
we call PNLK.

Have to move back, in order to see the whole screen-
the big picture.

During the previews, I'll take a quick random
walk to the concessions. Today though
I'll stay away from all the sweet stuff , so I won't
get so hyper.

With my popcorn and diet soda in hand,
I'm back in my seat. The picture starts.

Same old theme. Choosing the next "big" stock
in the most currently hyped sector.

Seems like every three or four years, there's the next big
thing and every new offering is going to be the next 100 bagger.

Whether it is tulip bulbs, biotechs, or now Internet stocks,
the story follows a re-occurring plot.

Prices of all stocks in the hyped sector go through the
roof no matter what the sub plot is of each particular equity.

Now who really believes K-tel is a 50 dollar stock?
Or Amazon.com is a worth 95 dollars per share?

When Barnes and Noble, Borders, HMV and Tower get on line
while maintaining their retail outlets, how on earth will companies like
Amazon generate the earnings to substantiate their valuations?
.
This sub sector is just too competitive, even if Amazon was in first.
Consumers also have too many options. Personally, I like going to record and book stores, putting on head phones at the listening stations, and paging through books while drinking a cup of coffee.

The shooting stars fall almost as fast as they rise

However, every once in a while there is an original character who
comes along with a fresh new perspective and products that other can't scramble to provide.

This character, let's call him Jean Pierre ProNet, links together
people across the world in ways they couldn't afford to be linked before using the hottest sector in such a way that Mr. ProNet actually
delivers a service that will generate revenue.

The skeptics, who are justifiably cynical, say such a story
is just a fairy tale. But JP ProNet has spent considerable
time and energy analyzing the need and allying himself
with the most capable consultants available to make the skeptics actually skeptical of their own self doubts.

Will JP ProNet succeed in his quest to link importers and exporters
in this wonderful world of global commerce, and make all his investors happy?

Will JP's website be the place to be where others pay top dollar to place their banners and be associated with one of the top grossing non-porn sites on the internet?

Will PNLK be the next Microsoft or the next Amiga, the next Amgen or Xoma?

Who can say for sure. But JP's story is compelling. And even with this recent misstep in JP ProNet's adventure, I'll stay fixated in my cushy theater seat through the next reel.

So far I give JP's story a big thumbs up. Three and a half stars out of four.

Stay tune to the continuation of this story.
