DO (another driller I own) seems to have a great deal of momentum now. Any thoughts on its further upside potential?

Thanks for the kind words, Ibexx.

As far as DO's upside potential is concerned, I'll be happy to share with you the results of another Telescan scan I did. First, let me say I am skeptical about the results (as I am about TA generally). In any event, the scan was looking for oil patch stocks with 1) the highest short-term technical strength (more on that anon), 2) the highest long-term technical strength, 3) the highest momentum, and 3) the highest volume increase over the last 30 days.

You'll be happy to know that DO made it into the top 25. Ratings:

Short term technical strength: 99th percentile
Long term technical strength: 90th percentile
Momentum: 96th percentile
Volume increase: 92nd percentile

Much more interesting (from my point of view) is the fact that DO is the only oil patch company whose 1-year growth rates for eps, cashflow, and sales were all higher than the 3-year growth rates for same. (The last quarter showed a slight decline, but I don't know whether that is the quarter just reported.)

Anyway, considering how well you have been doing so far (O, the pangs of envy are sharp!), I dare say DO will bring you more reason for celebration!
