Micheal--- I have checked estimates and see they really are not consistant. Quicken/Excite/Quote Com say .06 for current qtr & .09 for next. They say .31 for '98 and .61 for '99. They also sate no up or down grades last month and expect 30% growth over the next 3 - 5 years. Another area was checked and stated current qtr at .02 next at .05 with current and next year at .31 and .79. It seems there is going to be some fluctuation and First Call will be adjusting as numbers change. Who has raised could not be found. News articles/alerts are usually put out when that happens and all were checked from various sources back to Jan '98 and no mention was made. Evidently the wire services did not pick them up and the company did not put it out as a release either. As long as they meet or beat FCs estimate we should do well with the anticipated growth. Sorry more info was not available...

News: Secure Computing Introduces 'Partners First' - Next Generation Channel and Partner Program

NETWORLD+INTEROP, LAS VEGAS, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Secure Computing Corporation (Nasdaq: SCUR - news) today announced Partners First(TM), a new program for business and channel partners designed to provide industry-leading assistance in helping partners develop, differentiate and excel in delivering network or data security and related solutions. With this new program, Secure furthers its commitment to its business and channel partners, and continues to deliver the best security solutions to its customers, through both the channel and business partner offerings.

''Our customers are very concerned about the integrity of their applications and networks,'' said Martin Mulvey, director of channel sales programs at Stratus. ''Our involvement in Secure Computing Partners First program will help us enable our customers to avail themselves of SafeWord's superior solution for protecting mission-critical information that resides on the trusted networks of our organizations worldwide.''

The program matrix will be customized to both business partners and channel partners who provide value-add services in network or data security and related solutions to Secure Computing customers. Members of Partners First will benefit from the following programs:

Information and Communications: this program includes a bi-weekly Partners' First New Flash, information mailings and updates, access to private partner web site, and an identifier on Secure Computing's web. Sales and Marketing: In addition to providing sales leads and use of the Secure Partner logo, Secure Computing will give partners access to the Secure sales organization, trade show participation and support, and an invitation to Secure's annual channel and partner forums. Solutions Development: Secure Computing will provide demonstration software, on-site training and technical phone support.

''Historically in the security space, products were not developed with the channel in mind; they were difficult for resellers to install and support,'' said Gary Taggart, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Secure Computing. ''In 1998, we continued to release our next generation products that have, from their product conception, the channel in mind to address issues of usability and support. With the introduction of Partners First, we offer a next generation program, which provides an enhanced level of support for our partners, to enable them to more-than-meet the needs of our customers.''
