This is addressed to nobody in particular, just looking for views.

I have been in and out of Corel a few times over the years--to this point I haven't made or lost significant money.

What is the view of Corel as a turnaround speculation? Reading this thread and elsewhere I don't really see:

1) Where is the action that would constitute a turnaround?

2) What is this stuff about Corel Computer? Does Corel visualize itself taking on Dell, Compaq etc? With what resources?

3) Is there something/anything going on that would constitute a REAL
change?

4) What exactly will restore this company to profitability? Is it happening?

I guess my point of view is that I expect that Corel has OVER-provided for their losses, and that they will now fudge the books to suggest that this is OPERATING profit for the current period and con the investor back.Based on its previous operating procedures, I believe the company is more than capable of doing THAT!

So:

a)Is this a turnaround play? OR
b)Is this an already dead company--except for the funeral?
c)What assets would another company want to buy--worth what?
d)Does the company now have honest financial management?

In short I would like to buy back in IF there is a case for it.

Is there?
