The bottom always stinks
I do not agree with the cockroach theory in
this case - as we have yet to see the first
cockroach. Just because Cowen and Volpe downgraded
this stock does not imply there is something "fishy".
If they had issued a "SELL" instead - yes I am sure
they would be forthright in explaining why.

Right now its a case of the nervous nellies. No one
knows what the general stock market is up to and
so stocks that are not "confirmed" stories are shelved.

If I was an analyst with Cowen and Volpe (let me be fair)
I would be in a world of internet today if my Co states
in its logo (NO DINOSUARS!!). Guess what listening to
the CC I would have hedged as well - because of my job!!.
why take a risk?.. when all my peers are raving about
the "internet" and MIND SHARE?? - gosh!! I mat even understand
"DEFLATION" if I tried - but MIND SHARE!! - whose minds
- the only ones I see are the sucker investors!! - but anyway

and that is exactly what is the difference when you are
an investor. By the time a story is sooo clear, let's face
it - the boat is full. Point me 1 stock today that has a
definite story + proven earnings growth and is not touted
by these underwiters.

Let me give you'll a personal example. Take Pfizer: for years
it had the best research lines and no following. Never made it
beyond a "HOLD" and the lowest PE compared to its peers MRK, LLY.
We all heard about Viagra.. and noticed the stock had started
climbing but in a steady ramp... after the stock has climbed up
substantially these high tech undertakers start to tout it.
Today coupled with mass euphoria the stock has climbed faster
than my imgination ever did - but coupled with the climb has
come a volatility I never saw. So tell me: I bought it some years
ago and have seen a triple - AND I betted against Wall Street
wisdom. Same for INTEL (Kurlak) and the story goes.
The Goliaths have to play by different rules than the Davids...
that's explains why the two groups never see eye to eye and
David can always thrive as long as he keeps a "David" minset!!
(excuse the biblical analogy - but times have not really changed
that much since perhaps the last 2000+ years - only the tools
have)

well let me tell you'll why I will not buy more CMND.
1. There are still so many people here "waiting" for a small "pop".
If they panic, the price will drop further - and there seem
sufficient possibilities that will provide that:
a. time makes the weak more nervous
b. law-suits
c. a drop in the general market
d. the numbers for the next quarter will be lower.
2. CMND management must have gotten a shock like the rest of us.
If they haven't it tells me they HAVE NO PRIDE in their baby
and I DON'T buy that. If they have then they will do what
proud persons do: TEACH the world WHO knows. So we'll hear
a different tone in the next Q'. The numbers will be down
for next quarter (we know that) but their message must be
different.
3. I wait to see what they do with 21 mill cash. I don't need
to wait for results just their actions will tell me if
Caputo and Co have investors interests close to their hearts.
See they may be smart and savvy - but SELFISH. Nothing for me
there.
4. In the meantime, one needs to diversify one's portfolio and
believe me there are GOOD companies out there that have yet
to revv up their engines. Why wait for SH*Tle to tell me that?

Good luck.
