Which is fine... KLIC goes up 300-400% in a typical cycle - I don't have a problem missing the first 30%. In such a scenario that 300-400% still becomes 210-280% for someone like me who has missed the first 30% and that is fine for me. More than likely even after the first 30%, the stock will at the least do 100-150% in a year and that again is acceptable to me.

Shane. (who remembered that Buffet did not pick the bottom exactly on stocks like Geico but that did not prevent him from sizeable returns nevertheless. The mistakes are 2 fold - holding throughout the cycle and looking for the "exact" bottom. Close enough is good enough. Improving business trends do not imply the full up-cycle return is immediately reflected in the price of the stock.)
