Kamoshida was in charge of efforts to root out corruption at the central bank and to punish
employees involved in bribery scandals, NHK said. He was not reported to be a target of any
corruption investigation.

I find it interesting that he wasnt under investigation himself...so no reason to kill himself.....

unless

he did something not under investigation YET

a big failure is about to happen and he is "shamed" because he was responsible for stopping the corruption...

or he has cancer and doesnt want to go through chemotherapy and Jack Kevorkian doesnt make house calls in japan

or he was murdered by some mafia guys ;-)

I dont know much about Japan's culture...except they have this "honor" thing..... and do kill themselves over "honor"

they funny thing about that whole concept is....some have done all kinds of illegal and manipulative crap that is not "honorable"
but dont commit suicide (the honorable thing) until found out....

(yeah I know that is a generalization, so no Japan flaming please)

Americans do all kinds of illegal and manipulative crap as well...especially those MM's ....LOL
