I welcome you on this thread; you are a great addition as a gold expert!

In case there is hyperinflation after 1/1/2000; real estate might just be the thing to have. OTHO in a deflation scenario; 'cash is king' (pick up some real cheap real estate in lets say 2001).

Nobody really knows what is going to happen (on the Yourdon site I have seen an interesting discussion about the likelyhood of inflation vs. deflation; and possible consequences; and also the best way to protect your wealth in those scenarios. Interesting to read).

It is nice to see more of the Gold thread coming to the y2k thread (you, and Bobby). I expect y2k and macroeconomic discussion on the Gold thread to move towards one another; as increasingly y2k will be THE determining factor for macroeconomics the coming 3-4 years, IMO.

You guys on the Gold thread make one of the best discussion boards ever on the internet!
