The error message said 16-bit color depth, which is
64,000 colors (roughly). She's probably running 256
colors (8 bit depth).

Hi Dirk,

As is all too obvious I'm somewhat computer challenged;o)

Unfortunately, Saturday duties call so I'll have to try to get Kristi on her skates later today.

When I get back, I'll try both your suggestions and Zeuspaul's. The two of you are good samaritans(in the best sense of the term).
