Dauntless,

It's been my experience that the FDA frowns on companies releasing
trial data via the press or other media prior to NDA filings.

That is a company by company preference. Yes, Pfizer has traditionally withheld data from publication prior to a drug release in order to prevent a competitor from gaining an advantage. However, in ZONA's case, we are now talking about a drug which has been available for quite some time as an antihypertensive. What's the secret? I would think they would want to be as public as possible in order to dispel the allegations that it is a farse. The fact that they are acting to the contrary is BS and unacceptable.
