Steve-
What are we supposed to do with split sectors? Do you have any lists outside the tech sectors? I know Irby is the tech guy, but I think you've posted some, I just can't seem to recall.

Somebody recently posted here about the supermarkets, and if these readers were paying attention, they could've traded ABS, SWY and KR together (long) for profits in the last few days. I'm sure some of you did, and I think lists and experiences like those can put money in our collective pockets. I had some profits earlier this week going long the golds, ABX, NEM and HM. I think PDG also runs with them. They did trade very much alike. Obviously, the major oils were doing great, along with the drillers, maybe it will continue. My chart work gave me a buy on PD going into Friday but it failed. This one can rock when it gets going, maybe we should watch the minerals, unless there's a company specific thing going on. Who knows this sector?

PS
I like you, I think you provide a very valuable service to the many readers of these threads, so take it from that perspective, but....
Can you post without a plug? I have a friend who sells mutual funds, we go to a trendy bar, he can't help trying to sell the bartender and the barmaids, is that you? (he also lives in jersey, maybe a jersey thing?)

Alex,
On splitting sectors, you have to be careful, but it also provides great opportunities, because one of the two sides usually comes back, providing opportunity for the selective trader.

ie..the plug. Personally, I think its an acceptable plug to offer our free e-newsletter to people on this thread and the other threads upon which I regularly spend time and contribute. The feedback has been great for the newsletter and it is something for free which might help someone just once.

Regards,
