Anthony that's exactly my point. MRK is a huge company with great earnings but clearly their pipeline is much weaker than PFE's and seems to be further away from getting their products to market, if they ever make it. I apologize to any MRK holders on this thread but I just want to emphasize that price is based on future growth and according to the recent earnings increase by Smith Barney, PFE may be able to pull off earnings as high as $3.00/ share this year. This was based solely on the potential success of Viagra which I strongly feel will come to materialize. However, PFE's other new drugs waiting for FDA approval should easily help beat these conservative estimates.
