RCJIII, in post #561 you wrote:BAAT's price ran from .06 to $3.25 in a few days. In post #279, you wrote:If you don't believe a stock can go from pennies to dollars in a week or two look at these recent examples: BAAT from .06 to $3.25 in 2 weeks WAST from .25 to $3.25 in 2 weeks DGIV from .25 to $7.5 in 2 weeks While I agree with you in principle about the possibility for a stock to make a gigantic leap in a relatively short period time, here's my take on those three stocks: BAAT from .08 to $3.25 in 4.8 weeks (Jan. 2 - Feb. 5) WAST from .375 to $3.28 in 3.1 weeks (Feb. 3 - Feb. 25) DGIV from about .50 to $7.25 in 5.7 weeks (Mar. 13 - Apr. 22) [Note: The tool I was using to research stock history, tradepbs.com , is great! For some reason history for DGIV only goes back to April, 1998, thus the wording "about .50" is my way of saying I was looking at a graph that didn't have the same precision as the "Historical Pricing" web page.] My hope is that the second set of numbers will bring us all down to earth just a tad. We may have to look at a wait until June before we hit some of the big $ numbers that folks are talking about for two-weeks from now. If GLCP goes to $2/share in two weeks, we'd be looking at a 40-bagger (0.05/sh x 40 = $2/sh) occurring within a 20-day time frame!!! That would be a better performance than any of the quantum leapers mentioned above. I'm not sure if any of this is too relevant since if the stock goes above $1 (which I think is a no brainer given good news next week) a lot of us we'll be looking at 5-baggers and the "problem" of the day will be, "Do I take the 5, or hold for more?" Food for thought... Chris
