I have been trying to determine the reason for the recent improvement in the stock price.

I contacted the office and talked with Patricia Kerr who looks after investor relations for the time being. She indicated that no significant movements or decisions have been made within the company since the news release of April 16, 1998. Her take on the present climate was that it seems to take time for the information from news releases to trickle down into the investment community.

Anyone else hear of any other developments which may explain the recent surge.

Charred,

I was told OROP was to be listed on the TSE in September (of 1997). I guess there have been a few delays but I'm sure they're still working on the listing though. I know a lot of people who stay away from the current exchange OROP is on and being on the TSE would definitely increase the exposure of the stock.

I agree, that was a nut of an excuse IR gave. My experience with this stock (and others) the price moves up before the release and then drops. Look at the stock chart and then the news release date.

Regards,

Trev
