I have a 4 year old who saw Titanic (I didn't want him to, but a neighbor's kid had a bootleg video, and they watched it together when a babysitter was over).
I asked him if he was scared. He said "no, why?" I responded that the people died. "Yea, but there were no monsters in it"...
Kids may not understand b/w films, but they sure have their own way of rationalization.

Yeah..had the same "color" question a few years back. Got some old Shirley Temple movies..after a few minutes Chicklett didn't know what color was...She loves these movies.

Watching Robin Williams w/ an 8 yr old keeps you on your toes......if you remember some of his early material.
