As you probably remember, AMD licensed Intel's MMX instruction set. I don't know for certain, but I don't believe that AMD has a license to the MMX2 instructions. Why do I have this nagging feeling that Intel's MMX2 instructions will be significantly different and that AMD won't have an easy time converting?
