Sri, thanks for your work and your report to the thread. I've been long NQCI for about six months. This co has tremendous potential, and i believe that we will eventually be rewarded for our patience. Your write-up is an excellent summary of the industry and the future opportunities for well managed providers. In this respect, I believe that NQCI is in a class by itself.

Thanks again.

Steve

Sri,

Thanks for sharing your notes, a few comments about them: In the US, NO patient is turned down because they have no way of paying, thus, the company will never have any bad debt, how many companies can say that?

Have any of you read the 10-k on this company? If not, I would urge you to---it can be viewed by going to Yahoo Finance--NQCI ---SEC filings.

On page 4, there are a few exerpts I would like to point out:

"It is estimated that there are currently 230,000 ESRDpatients (End Stage Renal Disease) in the U.S. and the U.S. market for outpatient and inpatient services to ESRD patients in 1997 will exceed $14 billion" !(I don't know if this is just dialisis or if it includes transplants, etc.)

"It is estimated that there were approximately 3,000 dialysis facilities in the U.S. at the beginning of 1997, of which approximately 27% were owned by independent physicians(down from 37% in 1992), 28% were hospital-based facilities (down from33% in 1992), and 45% were owned by seven major multi-facility dialysis providers (up from30% in 1992).

You can read the rest, but I guess my point is that the industry has been consolidating since at least 1992 and that the industry may be even a little larger than your notes indicate.

We're in the right place at the right time on this one, with good management that is agressive, we'll see good appreciation when the company starts to show a good earnings flow.

Kevin
