Estimates have been made that they could save up to 500 million dollars through consolidation of operations such as logistics, R&D, corporate offices, upper management, etc. I don't believe that includes sales of geographically similar operations. I understand that JSC and Stone people are currently looking at each others facilities. This could be for real! I noticed JS stock has been the biggest benefactor so far from the merger talks. Not sure why. Do you think Morgan Stanley will get out of the picture completely?
