Comparisons:

DELL Trailing 12 Months Revenue = $11.727 Billion
DELL Shares Out = 640.317 MM
DELL Price 5/2/98 = $84 1/8
DELL Market Cap = $53.866 Billion
DELL Price To Sales Multiple = 4.59

CPQ Trailing 12 Months Revenue = $24.496 Billion
CPQ Shares Out = 1584 MM
CPQ Price 5/2/98 = $29 1/2
CPQ Market Cap = $46.728 Billion
CPQ Price To Sales Multiple = 1.91

Notes: DELL worth ~ $7 Billion more than CPQ, yet DELL is ~ 2.08 times smaller than CPQ in sales.
If CPQ sold at the same Price to Sales ratio as DELL (ie 4.59), CPQ would be $71 per share.
At under 2 x sales and with DEC coming on, definately more
bang for the buck...I would be nervous if I just bought
DELL last week.
