Highlights from Sunday 5/3/98 Chicago Tribune front page story on Viagra:

"Couples Adjusting to Life With Viagra"

"The drug is proving beyond satisfactory to most men who have tried it, many medical experts say {none named in story}."

{Dr. Laurence Levine, director of the Male Sexual Function and Fertility Program at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center} "said simple possession of the pills is reassuring to some men. He has checked with several patients who filled prescriptions but haven't yet tried the new drug. "It reminds of how guys used to carry a condom in their wallets during high school," said Levine...".

"They {42 year old male bricklayer and wife, 44} have tried Viagra twice. The first time it worked very well, she said. The second time it did not. The [couple] believes it was because he had just eaten foods with high fat content that could affect absorption, a theory not studied in research."
