Nick, even if your child had been tested at the time of discharge it would not have kept him from getting jaundice nor eliminate the need for testing at three to five days. Infants get jaundiced, most of which is benign and if you read the most recent medical literature, followed too much, and tested too much. What I am trying to confirm through asking here is whether or not my figures for this part of Virginia and my figures for pediatricians that I have regular contact with are different from other published figures. I can't find any medical data to support the numbers put forth here.
