April Fool, the stock has never been below a dollar and only briefly dipped below $2 on the last trading day of 1997. Conservative annual revenue estimates come in at about $240 million or only about 0.75 times their $150 million market cap. To put that in perspective, Micrographx is priced over twice annual revenues; Adobe is priced at 4 times annual revenues; Visio is priced at 10.00 times their annual revenues; Microsoft is priced at 15 times annual revenues. For those companies already in this market space, Corel's revenue stream looks very attractive and it's customary to buy companies for several times annual revenues. Take Adobe, they already have manufacturing, sales and marketing, customer support and the rest of it. They could easily generate a high profit margin from that revenue stream overnight.

Even with the inept leadership, the rock bottom value of this company is probably somewhere around $4 per share and I'm here to tell you I'm no fan of Corel. The current price reflects the near total lack of confidence in the buffoon at the helm. Your comment about Corel being unfocused is a valid one, but your statement about staying out above $1 and selling it when it doubles indicates an otherwise total lack of factual information. Why don't you check the most basic facts before sticking your foot in your mouth next time. I suppose you are betting against the Cubs taking the World Series because they have a bad pit crew and lousy goal tending?
