Binder, American BioMed actually has ten catheter designs approved for sale by the FDA including the Ahn Atherectomy Catheter. Four more versions of the bilumen catheter will be approved soon by the FDA.

I think the website may actually be updated this week to reflect some of the tremendous progress the company is finally making.

GO ABMI!

Regards, Jeff

Binder,

I hope everyone realizes the importance of this new advancement in catheters. As I see it, all systems in use now are multi functional systems. They can install stents, cut out plaque and help in diagnostic. I do not believe they can vacuum away the plaque.

During the insertion procedure plaque is broken loose and can end up in the feet, kidneys or other parts of the body. In the feet it can clog the small vessels causing dry gangrene. In the kidneys it may shut down any kidney function resulting in dependence on dialysis. IMHO the vacuum advantage will save lives and be highly sought after by the medical community.

I believe this to be a note worthy advancement. I truly wish it had been available for my father.

Good investing all.
