What I "see" is the fact that the oilsands contain quite alot of metals, both precious and not so precious and a company that holds quite a few patents.

Perhaps we should focus some attention on these patents and how they may effectively block competitors from getting at the non-oil assets contained in their oilsands.

Also, I think its time the media knew about the giant monster sitting in Alberta, namely the TOXIC tailings ponds, which someone will ultimately have to deal with (before or after a disaster). WHat happened in Spain is probably minor compared to what risks are posed as a result of these ever-growing toxic tailings ponds.

You've forced me to admit that asking you a question about the technical merit of SOLV's proposal is not a constructive endeavor.
