you may want to check out this weekend's barron the article of "the Sign of Bear" - interesting study on A-D.

new high/new low rolled over long ago, it peaked beg april and has been downhill since - that means fewer and fewer stocks are pushing the indices higher and is unhealthy.

do you follow McOsi indicator ? it has topped below zero beg of April. made a bottom on 04/28 that is as low as 10/23/97. the formation now looks very much like beg of nov 1997.
