Back into the fold! Good.

VTSS and PLAB (and your DPMI) are exceptional stocks. VTSS doing well is nothing new (as you know!). However their doing well does not invalidate Kurlak's concerns. Generally high end small niche players tend to do very well in all circumstances except a total sector collapse (and we have no sign of one thus far - PCs excepted - but even they appear to be coming back). Therefore I'm not totally surprised.

With the other 2 that was just wise investing! BTW I've been yacking (aka causing trouble) on the DD threads (for no apparent purpose - to me they are a longer term bet - really not bothered what happens n/t) and one of the people there pointed out to me your other bud - Veeco. I asked him for customers and then when he did not know I took a quick gander at their financials etc (aka the 10 min. gig). And yikes did I like what I saw!

With picks like these Mr. TSO I think we have been put on notice to make sure you cease and desist your "apparent naivete" as it is pretty evident you know exactly what you are doing!!! Both Dupont Photo. and Veeco are exactly the kinds of small companies that I love to ferret out.

On the Kurlak theme it was really the $1+ billion in revenue that I was talking about. The key: If there is a disaster lurking on the horizon, they should be showing some effects. Being so big it is tough for them to hide from trouble in the same way that Vitesse might.
Nevertheless LSI seems to show no effects and that is impressive (to me, SO FAR). Could it just be that chips are so omnipresent now that LSI is fortunate to be at the right place at the right time. Perhaps. And that would be great.

However it is probably prudent to be alert and watchful (just in case). Looking 6-12 months out it is tough to see the major disaster that Kurlak keeps droning about esp. for LSI. Of course things could change in a heartbeat.

It would be nice if the speculation in the markets took a breather don't you think?
