Boob - Please don't caste me in the role of naysayer, and no, I haven't caught the highs and lows because I haven't tried. I was merely trying to point out that a reasonably good daytrader with the right equipment could have added to profits several times this week and achieved returns significantly above holding all week....certainly not that that return is anything to frown about either. I have been in stocks before where daytraders were castigated and the benefits of a buy and hold strategy were lauded for months as a stock went up. This deepens one's love for a company to the point that if and when the stock does go into a dive, for whatever reason, some long termers just continue to hold and end up losing a considerably portion of their initial investment+earnings. (Personally, I'm at the point of trying to simply like companies rather than falling in love with them.) Too, daytraders only have to catch a portion of the swings to do very well. Just look at the early week gap to .48, and then later the morning run after the Penny Stock rec. came out. I don't have the time or tools to trade daily ranges, but for those of us who are holding let's not beat our chests too loudly because we have to keep our ears open for any sound of danger.
