Grand-mere, YOU ARE HIRED!!! I HATE to cook! I just love coming up with the recipes (and eating them, of course!) But if you are by any chance Pennsylvania Dutch, then I KNOW you can cook well!!! I used to LOVE going to PA and visiting my relatives....the food was TREMENDOUS!!! And I still remember with fondness pickled eggs. I can't seem to find them in the grocery stores down here. How does one define "DUH?" It means the same thing on this thread that it means in real life. It's a term that the younger generation uses a lot and I think that we adults copied it from them. Your grandchildren can probably give you the best example....for maximum effectiveness DUH! has to be said with just the right tone in one's voice...which obviously I can't do here. It's basically saying something that is obvious...and it's so obvious that it's almost dumb to even say it...and so you go "DUH!" after making the statement. For example...."DGIV is a good stock! DUH!!" (Trust me, it comes out much better when heard in real life. It's the tone of voice that makes it). You sound like a GREAT lady (I read your profile). That husband of yours that you've had for over 50 years must feel like a very lucky man. Juanita
