Let's put it this way, I'm bullish on my prospects for making a fortune if the mkt tanks and goes into a grinding bear (ggg) <<<Interesting side note....in 1929 everything went down but gold stocks came back strong as did RCA(the tech stock of the 30s). The EU news on Monday should be interesting. Look for gold to move sharply one way or the other! >>> Why do you think I have been buying gold (ASA, NEM, and the metal itself) over the last 2 months. Gold returned around 600% during the 73-73 bear and the '29-'32 bear (note, it was 1955 before the DOW got back to its highs) I don't do this stuff for fun (ggg) HEHEHE... BTW- the new leaders of the central bank of Europe were announced today. a dutchman will run it for 4 yrs, then a Frenchman will take over (the French have made it VERY clear they favor a strong gold backing to the Euro) So, yes I am waiting anxiously for the announcement of gold reserves next week. as for the EURO, I believe I did touch on it pulling capital from the US as the new reserve currency, do you see another scenario?? -Lucretius
