Hi Christine, The KKK in the 30's was almost exclusively white protestant, and they also hated Catholics, so calling them Christians can be misleading. They were the same kind of fundamentalist Bible thumpers that have managed to excise any discussion of Evolution from our high school science books. I consider that the equivalent of book burning, and we all stood by and let it happen. I will never be silent about the misdeeds of Christians again, and will bring them up from time to time. They are now enjoying power and popularity that is undeserved. Del
