DT had a VERY nice 1997 report . Let me know, if you want to see
the graph. Broke through everything in sight last week - then
stabilized as fas as I remember. Have it indirectly through "the Dax
dogs certificate".

One more nice point. The company with the highest dividend rate in
1997? DAIMLER!! at 12.2 %. They decided fo roll out / roll in of their
capital to avoid taxes - the big guys and girls do it on a regular basis.
Caused quite some suffering among options lovers because they
'forgot' to mention when the extra dividend is due.

For Berney - cause he could not find LHSG in his books:
96 97 98e 99e 00e
EPS 0.22 0.75 1.28 2.11 3.50
Cash flow /share 0.32 0.82 1.32 3.06 5.59

source: Merck, Finck & Co

some more numbers:
revenue 97/96 +85%
pretax profit +239%
EPS 46c / + 196
Customers mix: 46% europe, 42% America, 12 % Asia
cca 12 Million end customers served
97 98 99
EBIT-margin 18% 20% 27-28%

Price target 290 DM ~ 163$
based on assumptions:
68% revenue growth 1998-2000
35% profit growth 2001-2007
33% risk premium

BOJs efforts to support the yen during April:

I don't know if the same policy is going to be continued with the suicide of the head of the BOJ.
You can imagine how wall street would react if it was AG. You may have an opportunity to try out the "machine."
