Year 2033 : AEGIS.. cont'd As their vehicle moved forward through the gates of Vertiginous Heights the air changed again. The smell of flowers was suddenly overpowering as they passed into a laneway arched for a short distance with white lilacs in full bloom. The shaded walkway turned slowly to the right and opened up, a small lake appeared, several children played on the grassy verge of the lake under the watchful eye of a matron class robot, the children waved to the slowly passing vehicle, the Dryer clan was larger every year. As the vehicle started up the rise to the big house Jill looked to see if any new buildings had been added. It was interesting watching the place grow she thought. Each addition, no matter how wonky, seemed to add. She thought fondly of the time that Brad had decided he needed a rock garden for meditation. Experts had been flown in from Japan who had drafted plans for a beautiful rock garden attached to the big house. The bill was astronomical of course, rocks and soil had to obtained and lifted from Japan, it had taken almost five years before it was finished but it was truly a rarity, Brad still had a Japanese tea consultant who also kept the garden, he was much cheaper. The vehicle came to the main public entrance to OZ and Jon and Jill stepped down under the portico. The front entrance stood open and as they came into the foyer a small robot moved form a niche about 4 feet off the floor, inside the front door.
