JT, a sign in a local tavern, that I don't frequent any more: When the white man came to this country there was no tax, the women did all the work, the men spent their time hunting and fishing ... and ... the white man thought he could improve on this. As I remember, the Cayman's are Dutch (proudly). Make's one wonder if we don't have little tax enclaves battling each other. I just thought it was an interesting place to visit, as one on the few islands in the region with four and five story buildings; mostly with banks at the bottom and investment firms at the top. Hi Jury, I just got back from Hatteras island, a great place for wind surfing! Some of the wind surfers were doing flips, amazing! RE: First, we (I mean nations like yours or mine) cannot let their dirty, greedy hands from any point on earth - they musted bring their sad imagination of that what they call "civilisation" instead let a place like it has been before. Than, they put the former owners, now "deliberated" slaves, in huge problems with epedemies, cars, dirty productions, monoculture, chemicals and all the mess we use to destroy our basics. I completely agree with your point about our interference with other nations. We shouldn't do it. But I'm not sure I understand your second paragraph. Are you saying that western culture is a bad thing? IMHO, cars, chemicals, drugs, and technology are great. Monoculture has its good points and its bad points. Sorry if I misunderstood you, The Winsurfer!
