macker,

You might want to check with your cousin about shorting being just a margin based program......because I have been told by people who have been associated with Wall Street for MANY years, that as long as the shares are held in street name....whether on margin or not.....that they can be shorted....as long as there is cash put on the line by the shorter upfront.

Other thoughts.....in the past....when I have been in a stock where a call to call in one's certificates has been made....it has been with loser stocks....story stocks.....no real revenue to think of. Whenever I've seen those calls made in the past, rather than call in my certificates...I would instead just sell my shares.

The reason that I am treating DGIV differently and taking heed of Byron's advice to call in my shares is that DGIV is a WINNING stock! And it has real revenues!! With more to come!
