If calendar tax year, corporate tax return due 3/15. But, one can file extension by 3/15/98 for automatic 6 month extension of time to file corporate tax return.

That is correct. But they didn't have to be audited.

The auditing of the financials takes as long if not longer than doing them. Verification, authentication, etc., etc.

From the ESVS 8-k (Covenants and Conditions: 7.01) we can assume the financials were already completed.
