Steven ...great web site thanks for doing all that work:) Do you know if pentastarch by Dupont ( smaller molecular weight less likely than Hetastarch, Hespan, Hextend to interact with coagulation factors) will be made available in the U.S. as a generic use item? Or would they have to jump through a lot of hoops for the FDA in this country to get approval? I am assuming that it has not already been approved only because I have never seen it at any of the hospitals I work at. Doug Shapiro,M.D.
