Judy - thanks for the response...Allen is as bullish as ever and has written some interesting prose on the future of embedded systems as he sees it at www3.techstocks.com. I for one would not bet against him...

My sense (right or wrong) is that the momentum guys have given up on WIND and the hope of their "blowout" quarter. The PE is too high for the value or the GARP guys - so who does that leave? The shorts looking for a vulnerable prey?... Hopefully, the true long-term investors have not given up, as they shouldn't. WIND is executing almost perfectly, building a solid franchise in an area with relatively high barriers to entry (intellectual property requirements) and very high projected growth rates. Management has also been very effective at reducing the price volatility by their earnings "management".

I for one am hanging onto my investment, but have sold my trading WIND. I do have a bull put spread (May), short the 35's. I really thought the support at that level was strong given the last six months trading pattern. I hope I am right! I also am hoping for that pop from the developers conference!

Good trading to you, Carolyn
