Hi Thean...Glad you joined us here. This thread can be an opportunity to share trading ideas, and we can use it intraday to call attention to anything that might make us some money. I am particularly interested in those stocks that we follow that show definite trading ranges that can be used to successfully daytrade for quick 1/4+ pt. profits. My style has been to become very familiar with certain stocks, so that a limited risk to the downside can be maintained..while taking advantage of intraday swings. I have had good results with this strategy, and am up about 20% on my capital so far this year. While concentrating on oil service, I would be open to trading any stocks that we have followed, researched, and feel comfortable with their trading ranges.
So, missed the -$20 price of SEV the other week...Any news there?

Thean.... BTW-- saw some analysts pumping OPMRF on CNBC this week. I think you've hit the stage where most people know about it. I'd bail.

My Asia recovery play:

Friday i bought a small amount of STOSY. It is the ADR of an Austrialian E&P, Santos LTD. I looked at the company a while ago and liked it, but was waiting for it to stop going down. I found this news in The Wall Street Urinal (and i was bored) so i decided it was time to buy:

I plan to hold for a while. It pays a Dividend of $ .67 per share, so based on Friday's price the yield 4.64%

Thean, no, i never bought OPMRF. I just found that snip in an article i was reading in thestreetdotcom and thought yous would like to see it.
