Corporate notebook market still affected by "price and service"

Latest analysis confirms it as the achilles heel and the paramount reason to switch . Brand loyalty is suspect .

CPQ is declining , with IBM and Dell in demand :

" A substantial amount of customer unhappiness
predictably has to do with service and price," said
Julie Perron, TBR's manager of primary research.

TBR's study is before IBM's introduction of its "light & thin" ThinkPad line which AAPL's new "light & thin" PowerBooks will be going up against .

Interesting when considering IBM may manufacture some of these new AAPL models (now makes AAPL's PB 2400 in Japan) plus IBM gains revenue from the PowerPC CPU .

Jim K.
