Louie,

Bid/Ask size is not always an indicator of stocks potential future movements. MM's often manipulate the bid/ask size in their favor to scare people out or get cheap shares. Therefore, one must not solely use bid/ask size to make a decision regarding the purchase of a stock.

One small correction LouieD. When a stock is gaining momentum, you can sell alot of times at the ask. The MM's will take it or part of it due to the demand they see coming and thinking it will go higher. It also can protect the stock from decreasing in value and provides support. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to matter. Just be careful.

Thank you Louie, sharing of that kind of info is much more helpful
than much of what I've seen in the last several hundred posts.
