Rich, Lots of pros and cons on the issue I would guess. File this in the FWIW folder, but my broker mentioned to me a few months back that they are working to do away with the certificates. Does anyone here know anything about this issue? Can you elaborate on it?

I am not in favor of this as I believe there are folks who hold and have held shares of established companies for many years in their strong box or bank; maybe even Folger's or Prince Albert as well. Shareholders should have the right to hold and control their certificates anyway they deem best for them. JMO
